Charity Support

Instead of sending Christmas cards this year, we are once again making a charity donation. This year our nominated charity is the Salvation Army. More Space

We are delighted to announce the erection of our new unit at the Wimborne premises. This gives us a further 200 square metres of warehouse space, improving product flow and enabling our Logistics team to streamline the despatch process.

SAP Business One

In our continuing drive to improve the quality of our service and streamline our procedures, we are installing SAP Business One software early in 2009. This integrates our accounts and contact management software and simplifies many of our standard processes.

Herman Miller

In September, we were appointed Herman Miller dealers, giving us access to the full range of Fastrak products, including Aeron, Mirra and Celle chairs and introducing the exciting new Sense furniture which requires no tools for assembly and dismantling.

	Disability Assessors Required The demand for our services in identifying the ergonomics needs of disabled workers and undergraduates continues to grow and we are now looking for sub-contractors to assist in a number of areas of the UK. Full training will be provided. There have been various versions over the last few years and FlexDesk continues to be one of our best-selling products. To simplify the selection process, we now have just the one model and we have gone back to calling it simply "FlexDesk".

We decided in June to cease exhibiting at this event. Although it has grown significantly over the years, it is now very much an industrial exhibition and feedback from many of our commercial clients suggested they were losing interest in it. We no longer believe it is appropriate to our business and the current commercial environment may well reduce interest further.

Currency

We buy a high proportion of our products in Euros or Dollars and many more are affected significantly by international exchange rates.

We have now hedged our currency purchases for 2009 but we expect to have to raise many of our prices by up to 10% from January 2009.

Originally designed to improve posture when taking notes at conferences, we have now found that it will store many types of notebook computer and can be used for note taking and short-term computer keying on your lap. Ergonomics Training for DSA Assessors
